“Barcerado was formed on the fateful day that Bootsy Collins and Marvin Gaye fell into a volcano at the same time, instantly spawning the 7 members in the ensuing explosion.”
—Barcerado
We didn’t know about the volcano, but we saw a clip of these guys playing in Charlotte last year and immediately booked them for Thursdays Live Sept. 2021. You knew they were special too, because you were asking us to bring them back before their last set had closed.

And so, they return! Barcerado will be vibin’ at MoRA’s Thursdays Live, presented by Edge City Brewery, on May 19 from 6p – 8p.
Come out to jam with the funky tuba, trumpet, trombone, keys, drums, and guitars. Bringing a mix of old school and new school, Barcerado will have you grooving on your feet or in your seat.
The Bubble Man
Hey kids, we’ve got a special treat for you. Winner of multiple Guinness World Records, Bubbleologist Steve Langley promises to delight with magical, rainbow-colored soap bubbles.
Steve loves that bubbles have the power to evoke childlike wonder and “liquid smiles” from us all.
