Charlotte FC Soccer Club is looking for families who live in the area (ideally close to McAlpines Center) to share their homes with youth Academy players, ages 14-18. Hosting an Academy player through the Homestay Program is a rewarding experience—you are helping a young athlete achieve his dreams and supporting the future of Charlotte FC by contributing directly to the club’s player development.

“Hello, I’m Farrell O’Quinn. I work specifically with the Youth Academy (ages 14-18). Part of my role with the Club is to recruit and manage our Homestay Program. Several of our Academy players live outside of the Greater Charlotte area, so we they live with local families as part Charlotte FC’s Homestay Program.

The Experience
Sharing your home with a Charlotte FC Academy player will provide a unique and enriching opportunity for your entire family!

The Benefits
- Monthly stipend to help cover costs.
- 2 tickets per match at Bank of America Stadium.
The Expectation
The Homestay Program is a 10-month commitment, which runs from August through June. Players return home during winter, spring, and summer breaks. The program is designed to create a safe, healthy living environment and a rewarding experience for a talented young player by providing the following:
- Welcoming home and family environment.
- A safe and comfortable living space.
- Physical nourishment.
- Transportation to and from the Charlotte FC training facility at McAlpines Center.
