Controlling mosquitoes in our community

Events, News

As the weather begins to warm up, we are all looking forward to spending more time outside. Unfortunately, warmer temperatures also mean the return of mosquitoes and the “itch”. Attend a free info session to learn about the most effective and safest ways to control mosquitoes in our community:

Monday, April 10, 2023

6:30 to 8:00pm

East City Church

The session will take place at The Fellowship Hall at East City Church, 6850 Monroe Rd. (use the side entrance) and will feature presentations from representatives of the Mosquito Authority and the Mecklenburg County Health Department’s Mosquito Abatement Service.

These experts will discuss the latest techniques for controlling mosquitoes, including larvicide methods, as well as maintaining bee and butterfly safety.

It is essential that we take proactive measures to protect ourselves and our families. This meeting will provide us with the knowledge and resources we need to do so.

Please register here.
