Trees at The Barn at MoRA

“Having the Charlotte Symphony play in the area for the second year in a row is a thrill,” says Kathy Hill, MoRA board member. [We hosted a brass quintet from CSO at the Embrace sculpture last June to open the 2021 season of MoRA’s Thursdays Live. Photos here.]

“But the fact that they’ll be playing under a gorgeous tree canopy in an idyllic grove setting, right here along the Monroe Road corridor, is nothing short of magical. We hope families will come and enjoy this unique evening of music together.”

Your CSO will play at a stage nestled among the trees, next to a 100-year old dairy barn. Remember to bring your own blanket or chair for this outdoor event.

The stage is being made available by ATC – Actor’s Theatre Charlotte – who is producing Evil Dead, The Musical at The Barn at MoRA through October 30. Tickets here. This is ATC’s final production, after more than three decades of theater in Charlotte.
