Get ready for two Latin Jazz Concerts at Embrace this fall. The FREE music events are sponsored by ASC’s Culture Blocks – a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.

Free entry. Free parking.
Bring your chairs or a blanket and gather around the Embrace Sculpture. Picnics welcome. No outside alcohol permitted.
Food & drink available for purchase from Hawthorne’s Pizza, Edge City Brewery, and local food truck.

The 16′ mosaic sculpture was handmade by the community. It was MoRA’s first major art project and has become an iconic gathering place, centrally located in the Monroe Road corridor.
Monroe Road Advocates (MoRA) is grassroots group of volunteers from Monroe Road neighborhoods, businesses, nonprofits, and schools. We’re connecting community in the corridor from Lupie’s/7th Street to NC-51.
