Government Committee

I’m currently the Director of Digital Content at Compass Group, a food and support services company based in Charlotte. Previously I worked at the Charlotte Observer, covering first high school sports and then serving as editor of CharlotteFive, where I wrote extensively about development in Charlotte, including several articles about the MoRA area. That was my introduction to this great group and the wonderful work they are doing to advocate for this part of town.

My wife and I moved to MoRA because we were looking for an affordable, established neighborhood with amenities close by and we couldn’t be happier with where we ended up. From our house in McClintock Woods, we’re able to walk to a grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants, great library and a brewery, with more development still to come. My vision for the MoRA area is to make it even more walkable, bike-able and transit-friendly. I hope that future development – especially along the Silver Line (and its rail trail) – connect MoRA in a way that will make it easy for residents to explore all of the business, parks and amenities it has to offer without having to use a car.

Contact me about what you want to see MoRA become as it continues to grow and develop.
