Feeling crafty for date night or your birthday? There’s now a neighborhood spot to bring out your creative side. Paint Ur Peace opened at The Commons at Monroe & Sardis between Jolly Rolls and Deep Sea Seafood Market to give couples and families the perfect place to break out some paint.
The paint studio is BYOB, so you can bring beer or wine to sip while painting pottery, canvas, wine glasses, wooden pallets, and fabrics. Owner SabrinaSingh says this is a popular place for birthdays, anniversaries, group outings, family reunions, date nights, and field trips.
This is definitely the place to go if you want to create a great gift for the holidays.
Paint Ur Peace is a little different from other paint studios in that there are no hourly fees. Customers simply pay for the piece they are painting. Sabrina feels an art community is emerging in southeast Charlotte, starting off with the Embrace sculpture across from East Meck.
Sabrina loves her central location near major roads like Monroe and Sardis, but enjoys the setback vibe of her shop. She says it’s always colorful at Paint Ur Peace, and invites neighbors of all talent levels to find something beautiful to paint.
Paint Ur Peace is located at 10020 Monroe Road #120, Charlotte, NC 28270. You can find more info on her website, Yelp, and Facebook.
