Popular massage studio Mood House opening in Oakhurst this summer

News

Mood House opened their Dilworth flagship location in 2021 and will open a second location this summer in Oakhurst Commons, the new mixed use development at 4008 Monroe Road (next to Take 5).

The modern massage studio with a Palm Springs vibe boasts over 800 monthly massage members (perks and discounts) at its Dilworth location, but you don’t need to be a member to book. Mood House was recently featured in Allure Magazine as a “must-visit” concept in the United States and voted #1 best massage in Charlotte.

“I kept searching for a place I could go to recharge my mind and body, somewhere with a community that I could call home,” said Founder Cristina Wilson. “I couldn’t find it, so I quit my job and built Mood House.”

Mood House Oakhurst will feature eight cabana-inspired massage suites, three infrared saunas and a private patio for clients to unwind after their massage. Their 50-minute signature massage costs $92 for members and $112 for non-members. Membership and pricing information here.

“We’re thrilled to have another new business in the area – especially one as well-loved as Mood House – and are looking forward to its opening,” said Lucas Prillaman, MoRA’s Business Engagement Chair. “The ongoing development along Monroe Road continues to excite and energize us.”
