The Comedy of Errors

By William Shakespeare

“The Comedy of Errors” is an exciting and wild tale. It follows the chaos and adventure that erupt when two pairs of long-lost identical twins get mixed up as they try to find each other. Mistaken identities and hijinks abound!

Meet the Cast

Shepherd Shakespeare Co. has assembled an unforgettable cast that promises an entertaining performance for all ages.

“We’re thrilled to have an incredible cast representing some of the best talent Charlotte has to offer. It’s a mix of returning actors and others making their Bard at The Barn debut,” says Director Chester Shepherd. “These actors have had us rolling on the floor in laughter from the moment they auditioned, and we can’t wait to share their performances!”

Shepherd Shakespeare Co family

SSCo was founded by a husband and wife team—Chester and Katy Shepherd—who share a love of theatre and performing for audiences of all ages. Both experienced theatre artists and educators, they have acted, directed, and taught all across the country and have been fortunate to work extensively with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte and Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte. Having lived in Charlotte for more than a decade, they feel fortunate to have put down strong roots in the Queen City. Now they want to bring their love of Shakespeare to as many people and places as possible. With a strong passion for children and education, they strive to bring Shakespeare to areas where it might not normally be available.
