Thursdays Live – September 2021

Art, Concert Series, Events, News

It’s time for something a little different this month. For MoRA’s Thursdays Live on September 16th, from 6-8pm, we’re mixing old school with new school…

Barcerado is in the house, bringing original sound and bodacious funk

You’ll love the jazz, the jams, the sound of this group who is here to keep the funk alive. (pronounced: Bar-sir-räd-o)  Bring a chair and settle in at Embrace for some great music.

The Monroe Road Area is growing and changing quickly. We want our neighborhoods to thrive. We advocate for strong schools, healthy community, and responsible development. And we want to Bring Arts to MoRA.

Brian Lafontaine as Andrew Wade with Laura Linney on Ozark

Rocking the mic as emcee this season is “one of Charlotte’s most recognizable, non-famous, best kept secrets,” Brian Lafontaine, who has performed and worked professionally as an actor “since the late 1900’s.” Lafontaine’s body of work includes film, stage, and TV—OzarkStranger Things, and Homeland to name a few—as well as countless commercials.
