Crisis Assistance Ministry has an urgent need for volunteers during the week of June 13-20.
There is federal money available to help those who are unable to pay their rent, but residents need to know about it NOW in order to apply for the funds before the end of the month deadline. Out of 135 apartment communities that need to be contacted, 26 are in East Charlotte.
- Groups of 3-5 will serve one apartment community.
- Groups can work within their own schedules; however, Friday afternoons and weekends are best.
- Groups will contact apartment managers in order to share flyers with residents. They will then go onsite to help residents with the applications. Participants are required to sign confidentiality statement.
